How to Dry Nail Polish Quickly






Picture this: You just put a shiny new coat of your favorite polish on your nails, you start to do a few light things around the house and before you know it you have a chipped or smudge nail. It happens to the best of us, but the good news is there is a resolution! You can now use a few different methods to dry your nails almost right away and with no mess! Check out the 5 ways below to dry your nails fast:


Hair Dryer: One of the best ways to dry your nails almost instantly is with a blow dryer. Simply, switch it on to the lowest, coolest setting and start drying! It shouldn’t take more than a minute or two before you have super dry nails!


Ice Water:  A different way to dry your nails would be to use an ice water bath. Paint your nails as normal and immediately dip them into a bowl of ice water. Let nails soak for up to 3 minutes and they should be nice and dry when removing.


Cooking Spray: It may sound strange but cooking spray is a great beauty tool when it comes to nails! Using an unflavored brand, spray the cooking spray lightly over your nails. A little spray goes a long way and before you know it your nails will be ready for the day. Note, you may need to rinse with water after spray has set.


Quick Drying Top Coat: While this option isn’t a DIY, it is a great beauty tool to have on hand. Use a quick drying top coat and brush it over your polish of choice. This will help your color set and your nails dry fast.


Freezer: If you are in a big rush to get going after painting your nails, this idea is for you. Simply paint your nails as normal and pop your hands inside the freezer. It might be a chilly experience but it this method has been known to dry nail polish super fast!
